Why Cornwall?
OUR STORY
Will grew up spending many a happy holiday in Cornwall with his family while I grew up pootling about on the Sussex coast. His happy place has always been in the surf, especially at Polzeath, whatever the weather (& whatever his age!). And I'm pretty happy thereabouts too! He's also spent almost as much time on the golf course at St Enodoc and seen it change very little over the years.
When we were first married, (me having clearly passed the 'Cornwall test' as a meer girlfriend), we lived in St Tudy for a short stint. I worked at a local primary school (PGCE training!) while Will was possibly one of the first people to officially 'work from home'...well, certainly in St Tudy which needed Broadband installed to enable such modern day, remote working. The village continued to modernise soon after we left with it's old pub, the Cornish Arms, being completely renovated and turned into the glorious St Tudy Inn....almost as we were moving out. Quite fortunate really.

Fast forward 2 decades later, 2 daughters later, quite a few adventures, jobs, homes and dramas/holiday lets later and...we've returned. Admittedly not quite full time....but finally, with a coastal place of our own!
